As an educational institution, the Faculty of Medicine a the University of Khartoum is aware of its role as the oldest school of medicine in the Sudan; which emphasizes its position as an institutional model for newer & developing schools. It shall continue to provide education which aims at scientific excellence, professionalism and social responsibility.
The graduates of this Faculty shall set high standards of leadership in provision of health care, education, research and development of effective & equitable Health Services in partnership with the health care delivery system.
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, historically & geographically, is well placed to continue to contribute significantly in the fields of medical education & research on the regional & international scene. Through its student body the faculty has set high values of student initiatives in primary health care, community-based activities & will continue to encourage & support innovation in this direction.
